Westinghouse AP1000® Bulgaria Supplier Symposium

In the period 20-21 February 2024, representatives of the Shipyard's Management took part in the first Westinghouse AP1000® Bulgaria Supplier Symposium organized by Westinghouse Electric Company and held in Hilton hotel, Sofia.

The symposium was aimed at Bulgarian suppliers of equipment, goods and services interested in the opportunity to work with the Westinghouse team. 
The event aims to provide information on the company's nuclear technologies and pioneering projects. The symposium consisted of interactive presentations on the company's global new build projects as Westinghouse looks to expand its global supply chain. The focus was on integrating the Bulgarian industry into it. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to exchange information with Westinghouse colleagues on serving the Bulgarian nuclear power industry.

One of the main reasons for representatives of TEREM-SHIPYARD to get involved, was a future joint project that is currently being discussed with representatives of Westinghouse Electric Company. 
Next week we expect a visit to our Shipyard on their behalf, during which to show our facilities and discuss the upcoming projects.
