The Minister of Defence visited TEREM-SHIPYARD
Today /12.03.2019/, The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Bulgarian Republic - Mr. Krasimir Karakachanov attended a meeting with the General Manager of T"EREM-SHIPYARD Flotski Arsenal - Varna" - Mr. Danail Slavov on the territory of the Shipyard.
The meeting was also attended by Admiral Mitko Petev - commander of the Navy of the Bulgarian Republic and members of the Board of Directors of TEREM-HOLDING JSC.
Many topics were discussed during the meeting, some of the most important were: the improved financial condition of the Shipyard, future development projects and future strategic partners.
Deputy Prime Minister and the General Manager made a tour of the territory of "TEREM-SHIPYARD Flotski Arsenal - Varna" to meet the Minister with the facilities and the production capacity of the Shipyard. During the tour Mr. Karakachanov held few talks with workers to feel the atmosphere of work. Mr. Slavov personally acquainted Minister Karakacanov on place with the ongoing repair works of each vessel accomodated for shiprepair in the Yard.
Since the beginning of the year and by the present moment, the Shipyard is working at full capacity. The Minister was familiar with the busy schedule for future Shiprepaires - full for several months ahead.
Mr. Karakachanov congratulated the present leadership represented by Mr. Danail Slavov for the achieved success despite the short period of his management and declared his support for the expansion and improvement of the activities in "TEREM-SHIPYARD Flotski Arsenal - Varna".
