We resume the NEW BUILDING in TEREM-SHIPYARD
It is with great pride and excitement that we share with you a piece of news which will mark new era in our Shipyard’s history ahead.
TEREM-SHIPYARD FLOTSKI ARSENAL – VARNA LTD. is starting work on a NEW BUILDING project!
On 08 April 2024 a contract was signed on the territory of TEREM-SHIPYARD with the Croatian company - ADRIA DOCKS for the construction and delivery of a Hybrid Floating Dock - Hull No. FA2312HDD. It took few months to set all documents and schedules, but as of today the contract comes into full force and effect.
The design of the facility was awarded to NORDEN SHIPDESIGN HOUSE TURKIYE, and realised with the assistance of IMPECCA MARINE company.
The dimensions of the floating dock are:
- Overall length - 85 m
- Width between towers - 16 m
- Lifting capacity - 2500 t
The building process for the floating dock is scheduled and its delivery is due in autumn of 2025. The floating dock is designed with focus on easy operation, safe working environment and reduced impact on the surrounding environment. The new floating dry dock will help with the building, repair and maintenance of yachts, mega yachts and other vessels.
The launch of such a project has the potential to lead to an increase in the number of such contracts in Bulgaria and a steady flow of funds for projects of this type. This will give a start to the establishment of a Bulgarian brand of concrete floating docks in TEREM-SHIPYARD FLOTSKI ARSENAL – VARNA LTD. and will also contribute to the future expansion and modernization of the capacities of TEREM-SHIPYARD. Successful completion of one or more new construction projects will positively impact the entire industry in Varna and the country.
